I have done a few 5k’s in the past. I have always walked them but recently I have thought about TRYING to run them. I have never been a runner so I have always had it in my mind that running is just not something I can do.
I was reading something on Sparkpeople and I found a “8-Week Rookie Running Program”. It is a printable calendar. It is really cool! I have to write the dates on it to make sure which day is which, but all in all it is a handy little tool!
I am only in week 3 so I have no clue if I am going to be able to actually run a 5k yet, but I will keep you posted!
